Marcus Lindenburg is an archivist, poet, and educator. He manages the archives of the American Irish Historical Society, a collection of paper, leather, metal, and canvas materials. He takes great interest in binding, marginalia, and other material intricacies.

He holds a Master’s of Arts in Literature (focused in medieval Ireland and Iceland) and a Master’s of Science in Library and Information Sciences, with a particular interest in archival practices. He is interested in the changing usages of The Archive, from the Middle Ages to the modern day.

His poetry can be found in print and digitally, in venues such as Stanford University’s MANTIS, North County Public Radio, and The Greene Street Review. He is interested in both freeform and verse poetry, and has an upcoming publication that takes inspiration from his scholarship on the medieval era.
